A study of mapping in its different senses. Three locations are selected within a site and their respective positions are sonified according to five different referentials: world, continent, country, region and site. The longitude and latitude of each coordinate in relation to its referential are adapted proportionally to the ambitus of a standard piano and expressed as sine waves. The result for each location is a different audio spectrum that is discreetly projected at the precise location from which it was derived. The sound is accompanied each time by a postcard diagrammatically describing the mapping process used.
